Bollywood Rumors > Water: still waiting”¦
[PassionForCinema] (It has been an year since I saw the film Water, and probably the same time since I heard the mesmerising music. I was happy to hear that the film and music are gonna release in India.
Some related posts from Technorati and Google.
Viva forever...: In my life so far I have achieved many a dreams, done well in studies and work, been a good daughter to my parents, haven't killed anyone (not yet), have lost sleep over few men, kissed a coupla hunks (who later became toads), gave my 100% to some people who crossed paths with me, made a huge bunch of friends from my blog (yeah you sweeties), laughed too much, cried more, partied hard, been stupid many a times, hassled people with my annoying habits, lost many loved-ones, even walked down a highway last Sat looking really lost, had great many disappointments, told some people off, learnt to accept defeat, got very close to death and have known life is never complete without being incomplete...that's just my way and that's complete to me. Well this may not be the picture-perfect life that some girls' lives turn out to be, but I think this is what my Perfect is and what I have been given. (via Cosmos)
ds9r + blog = dlog: is about, just that is was a very deep and heavy movie to take in when you expected a light and entertaining movie. It was beautifully shot, I enjoyed it and the movie brought to light an issue that I hadnt realised existed. (via Cosmos)
Let Every Dawn Herald New Beginnings: Also, came across A.R.Rahman's new & lovely compositions for Deepa Mehta's latest movie of her esteemed Fire - Earth (remember Harisaab's Dheemi Dheemi?) - and now,Water - trilogy. Awesome renditions by all the singers - and yet Minerva finds herself most enthralled by dear Sadhnaji's soulful rendition of Naina Neer Baha.. (via Cosmos)
Bollywood Music Charts Top10 Songs of the Week: Mychael Danna, A.R. Rahman (Hindi Songs) Starring: Lisa Ray, Seema Biswas, John Abraham, Sarala, Manorama, Raghuvir Yadav, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Waheeda Rahman, Vinay Pathak, and Rishma Malik Lyrics: Raqeeb Alam Water Director: Deepa Mehta (via Cosmos)
[Twilightfairy.rediffblogs.com] Twilight Fairy: Then came Rati Agnihotri with a gusto, trying to recreate the "tere mere beech mein" effect that too with a costume that looked like she forgot her antlers and the tribal gong. Though I didnt see that 25 yr old effect, the judges were all praise for her effort, keeping in mind her age.
[Blogs.rediff.com] Twilight Fairy: Wonderful combination.

Another nice ad is the Videocon campaign, which shows the Gaytari Mantra being mouthed by not Indians but all kind of people in other countries. A very smart way of showing that finally everyone is recognising stuff "Indian".
[Sugandha.rediffblogs.com] Day 2 Day: Its this show on Sony India called Fame Gurukul. Basically one of those talent shows where they are trying to look for a fame jodi who will apparently create great music (still waiting that to happen thanks to Indian Idoler...Lip Synching is not Singing...but this is for another time).
[Chinmayisripada.blogspot.com] WhatToNameIt: Breaking News....: Ashutosh Gowariker who also happened to be there when recording this song, and something I didnt expect, interacting with Mr. Aamir Khan, whom I met two weeks back, when I was called in for a correction.
