http://vishaalbhat.blogspot.com [Everything Under The Sky] Why the millionaire protagonist Avinash Malhotra (Bobby Deol) can’t figure out that his best friend Rohit Saxena (Milind Soman) is the villain is baffling, given that anyone who has seen even two-and-a-half crime flicks can immediately guess what his game is.

http://indiauncut.blogspot.com [Indiauncut.blogspot.com] India Uncut: every blogger is unique in his own way." Well, perhaps not, but in all the blogger meets I have been fortunate to attend so far, it strikes me how different all of us are from each other. Non-bloggers - a category of unfortunate people that grows smaller by the day - often use the term "bloggers" as they would "sociopaths" or "onions", as if we are one homogenous group, while actually we are quite a diverse bunch.

Sulekha.comhttp://www.sulekha.com [Sulekha.com] India Smiles Contest's Blog - India Smiles Contest web blogs ...: The film was visually rich and appealing but terribly slow, AR Rahman’s music was melodious but the editing was erratic and scenes changed abruptly, one of the heroines was doing some acrobatic postures on a rope hanging from a tree whenever she was happy or sad, the next time she was sad in a scene, someone from the audience shouted “go, do your thing with the rope on the tree!”, and sure enough, there she was again doing her thing with the rope on the tree, I kept hearing mobile phones ringing allover the hall and people trying to shout and tell the person on the other end that they were watching a film in a hall. It was a love triangle set in British India of 1930’s, an Indian hero, a British heroine and an Indian heroine, in one of the scenes with some British actors, someone in the audience exclaimed, “All these white people look alike” and I could not stop myself from smiling as I have heard the same expression in US from Americans telling me that all Indians look very similar to them, and I used to think “I wish you were right and I’d be looking as good as Amitabh Bacchan or Dev Anand or Shahrukh Khan”, maybe I did and maybe I do, I felt happy at that thought sitting in the Venkateshwara Talkies, and I was picturing myself doing acrobatic postures on a rope hanging from a tree, in the process I laughed out a bit loud in the middle of a sad scene but to my surprise everybody else in the hall also started laughing, I looked at Madhu and told him the reason I was laughing and he said everybody else is laughing in anticipation of the next scene with the heroine on the rope again!

http://www.alienintelligencer.com [Alienintelligencer.com] Alien Intelligencer: 04/01/2006 - 04/30/2006: The first question I get asked when I explain zines to someone who is new to the medium is, "You mean like a blog?" I suspect this is a common misperception if the 13 entry thread on the topic (quoted above) from the Zinegeeks Yahoo Group is any indication. As the reader might guess from the title of this article, my inclination is to give a strongly worded negative response to this irritating question.
