[Kamla Bhatt] Dadasaheb Phalke, whose real name was Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, was passionate about films. He produced and distributed, or to use an arcane film term was an exhibitor of films, and travelled around in bullock cars sometimes to show his films. He was inspired to make films after he saw a film on Jesus Christ in 1910.
