Bollywood Rumors > Chhalia starring Raj Kapoor, Nutan, Pran and Shobana Samarth ...

[NAACHGAANA] Based on a judicious mix of a real life incident, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s “White Nights”, the taut, emotionally gripping narrative by Inder Raj Anand (father of actor-director Tinnu Anand, and grandfather of director Siddharth Raj Anand of “Bachna Ae Haseeno” fame), this post-Partition story has suspicion on the one hand which nearly destroys a husband-wife relationship, and the rivalry between a Hindu and a Pathan crook respectively. Music by Kalyanji-Anandji, with Laxmikant-Pyarelal as assistants, played a part in making this emotional drama a box office success.

[PassionForCinema] Just for Fun ! | PassionForCinema: Minor issues still on which I hope you will throw some light: I still think Actor V has insufficient clue (you write Actor V and Actress C are related but I find that hard to believe unless you are using related in broad sense) or may be I am not getting it at all (more likely the latter). Also, not sure of Rakesh Roshan debut being Paraya Dhan (clue 8).

[Untitled] Letter to Bal Thackeray: Gunning for culture | Hard News: It's a difficult ask, but if you can by any chance locate Karim Khan's Marathi songs, since you are the sentinel of Marathi culture, you should prescribe them as mandatory for your Shiv Sainiks - Chandrika hi janu in Raag Devgandhar, Ugich ka kanta in Anand Bhairavi and Prem sewa sharan in Bhimpalasi. It would help them understand that culture and languages evolve from the mingling of people and don't flow from the barrel of the gun or arson that your men are usually associated with.

[Sachiniti] Saawariya-Movie Review (updated) « Sachiniti: And may I remind you buddy that a few moons ago i was fervently harping on storytelling as paramount in a film while you ,if I remember right were on the opposite shore in a YRF debate.Of course the tale is essential and so is the narrative effectively unfolded through grand visuals, as a determining factor of the Directors mastery on his craft. The best films are those that have achieved a balance. An example of this..for that you will have to wait till January..
