[Trying to kill as few people as possible...] Jaane tu yeh side show!: But then on watching the movie I realised the lead pair’s tale is too cliched. But i still liked the movie for a majority of reasons. The side artists were off the top amasssing[amazing].If not for them this would have been another mundane script from Abbas Tyrewala.Rathna Pathak Shaw as Imrans mom will surely be remembered for this role so will her on screen hubby Mr.Naseeruddin Shah!Intelligently mocking television serials Tyrewala showcases Shah from a picture.Prateik Babbar was outright magnificent..his role etched to perfection..that scene between Babbar and Genelia about her not remembering his friends..what a piece of writing..could just watch it over and over again. The Khan brothers in a gem of a role not quiet making sense till the last moments were a treat to watch. They should consider doing more cowboy roles.Paresh Rawal, just his appearence on screen and you know you are in for a laughter marathon..two scenes and his class is simply classy! Manjari was good but i felt Ayaz Khan was an unnecessary inclusion in the movie. The friends of Rats and Meow played with much elan by Aliksha Varde, Nirav Mehta, Karan Makhjia and Sugandha Garg take the pie.
[Bollywood superstars] Movie review: Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na review: It looks like certain scenes have been snipped short before they could finish while others for instance the dinner table scene with Meghnas(Manjari Fadnis) parents are stretched). Though there are some neat lines, in the film, there is no scene that really stands out.
[One Knight Stands] Movie Review: Jaane Tu.. ya Jaane Naa: But not to forget, in a very short screentime, Prateik Babbar manages to leave a mark. He feels very confident onscreen and doesn’t try to go overboard. And well, Manjari does manage to make my heart skip a beat.
[ayaskantam.com] Jaane Tu”¦ya jaane na - Movie Review: Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan’s entry in the climax is odd. Transport strike, Horse riding…are too cinematic in a realistic film.
[apunbola.com] Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na: The 3 guest actors - Naseeruddin Shah, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan mesmerize the audience with their comedy. Paresh Rawal also plays a nice little role as a police officer.
[My diary] Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa - It's differant.: We have Naseeruddin Shah as her dead husband's spirit who irritates her from the confines of his photo (Abbas misses a trick somewhat by not garlanding the photo though but never mind) and is very keen on seeing his son show some violent tendencies which will make the Rathore family proud of him. We have Paresh Rawal as the Inspector having a problem with Ratna Pathak Shah who by the way is a social activist hellbent on getting him suspended.
[Filmikhabarain AIK DAM TAZA] Khalid Mohammed Reviews Jaane Tu ..Ya Jaane Na (Movie Review: Vignettes are woven in seamlessly - featuring Paresh Rawal as a creepy-cum-comic cop and Naseeruddin Shahs dead-man portrait jigging into life spoofily. And surprise surprise, Arbaaz-Sohail Khan pop up as two wacko cowboys disrupting .
